The present appeal pertains to the year 1996. Vide order dated 28.11.2023 notices were issued to the legal representatives of the appellant. As per the service report, appellant No.1(i) and 1(v) have died. Appellant No.1(ii), 1(iii), 1(iv), 1(vi) to 1(viii) stand duly served. Neither anybody has appeared on behalf of the appellant No.1(ii), 1(iii), 1(iv), 1(vi) to 1(viii) nor anyone has put in appearance on behalf of the legal representatives of the appellant No.1(i) and 1(v). In view thereof, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the present appeal for non-prosecution. 2.

Dismissed for non-prosecution with liberty to revive in case anything survives in the matter. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
