The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 13.01.2026 passed by this Court in CRWP-9472-2025, whereby direction was issued to the respondents to reconsider the application for grant of parole to the petitioner. 2.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Ankur Bali, Addl. Public Prosecutor, U.T., Chandigarh, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and contends that a speaking order dated 13.03.2026 has been passed by the Inspector General of Prisons, U.T., Chandigarh, after considering the case of the petitioner. He has produced a copy of the said speaking order dated 13.03.2026 in the Court. The same is taken on record. A copy thereof has been given to learned counsel for the petitioner.
