Mr. Ruhani Chadha, Advocate for the petitioners. HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Petitioner Nos.1 & 2/parents of respondent No.4 and petitioner No.3 who is younger brother of respondent No.4 have preferred the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking direction to respondent Nos.2 & 3 to protect their life at the instance of respondent Nos.4 & 5. It is stated that on being fed up with the conduct of respondent Nos.4 & 5, petitioner No.1 disinherited respondent No.4 from his moveable and immoveable property as per affidavit (P.2). Thereafter, respondent Nos.4 & 5 have started issuing threats to the petitioners either to kill them or implicate in some false case. On 08.2.2019, respondent Nos.4 & 5 had beaten up the petitioners and caused injuries to them. Even thereafter the petitioners are being continuously threatened and harassed.
In this regard, MLR of petitioner No.1 has been annexed as Annexure P.3. The petitioners has submitted a representation dated 08.2.2019 (P.4) in this respect to respondent No.2-Sr. Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur and respondent No.3-SHO, Police Station Model Town, Hoshiarpur, however, no action thereon has been taken so far.
