Ms. Anju Sharma Kaushik, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab has informed that the petitioner has been taken back in service. Learned counsel for the petitioner has admitted this fact, however, he submits that the petitioner has not been granted annual increments for the period of extension in the job.

Ms. Anju Sharma Kaushik, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab submits that the claim with regard to annual increments shall be considered by the competent authority within a period of one month. Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the writ petition is disposed of with the observation that the competent authority would consider the claim of the petitioner with regard to annual increments in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
