(Oral) The learned State counsel has informed that the matter is at its fag end and is now fixed for arguments.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition. The learned counsel has, however, submitted that the said position of trial has been existing since the month of December, 2019 and that the case was not taken up for final arguments as the learned District & Sessions Judge, Faridkot before whom the matter was listed has retired in the month of December, 2019. In view of specific request for withdrawal of petition, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, the Incharge Sessions Judge, Faridkot is directed to ensure that this matter as well as all other identical matters, which may have been earlier listed before the Court of District & Sessions Judge, Faridkot who is stated to have since retired be distributed KAMAL KUMAR 2020.06.17 16:25 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
