ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN, J. (Oral) The is a petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of the inquiry report dated 15.06.2017 vide which during the course of inquiry Section 307 IPC is deleted and Section 326 IPC is added against the petitioner in a cross version. It is not disputed that investigation of the case is still going on and challan is yet to be presented.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a representation dated 20.06.2017 (Annexure P10) moved before the Director General of Police, Punjab is pending consideration. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition.

Dismissed as withdrawn. The Director General of Police, Punjab is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner and dispose of the representation dated 20.06.2017 expeditiously, in accordance with law either by himself or through some other senior official not below the rank of Inspector General of Police.
