******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 439 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.75 dated 09.03.2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 22 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, at Police Station Division no. 7, District Ludhiana.
Heard.
Learned counsel for petitioner submits that as per police version 800 gms. of power, alleged to be heroin, was recovered from the petitioner. Sample has been sent to FSL but no report has been received. Learned State counsel on instructions from SI Surinder Singh submits that sample has been sent to FSL but report has not been received so far.
Keeping in view above fact, the petitioner is ordered to be released on interim bail till 25.09.2018, on his furnishing bail bond and surety bond to the satisfaction of concerned CMJ/trial Court, on which date Jitender Kumar 2018.07.10 15:08 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
CRM-M-27413 of 2018 -2he will surrender before the trial Court and move application for regular bail, which will be decided on merit in accordance with law. In the event of report of FSL having been not received, the court concerned will extend the time for filing the same and may extend the interim bail to petitioner.
