***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J .(Oral) The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that pursuant to a compromise amongst the parties, the marriage of the parties stands dissolved by way of decree of divorce by mutual consent. The learned State counsel has informed that the police, upon investigating the matter, has prepared a cancellation report, which already stands filed.

In view of the aforesaid position, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition at this stage.

In view of the aforesaid submission, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn at this stage.
