Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 439 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of regular bail in FIR No.53 dated 23.02.2015 under Sections 307, 323, 341, 452, 506, 148 and 149, of Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station Tripuri, District Patiala.

Prosecution story, in brief, is that petitioner was armed with a sword at the time of occurrence and had inflicted injury on the right hand of the complainant. He had also inflicted one injury on the head of Amar Kaur. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the injury attributed to the petitioner on the person of Amar Kaur was found to be simple in nature. Petitioner is in custody since 14.03.2015. In view of the facts and circumstances of the present case, it would be just and expedient to order the release of the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is allowed. Petitioner be admitted to bail subject to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patiala.
