ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking protection of life, liberty and property of the petitioners who are apprehending threat from respondent No.2. Reply by way of affidavit of Sarabjit Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division, Banga on behalf of respondent No.1 has been filed stating that respondent No.1 has no concern with the petitioners. Further reply by way of affidavit of Harjinder Singh, ASI, CIA Staff, Jalandhar on behalf of respondent No.2 has also been filed stating therein that none of the petitioner is required by CIA Staff, Jalandhar and no case is registered against them. It is also stated that respondent No.2 never raided the house of the petitioners as alleged in the petition. It is also submitted that the petitioner No.

1 has given a representation dated 04.08.2016 which has been duly enquired into by Deputy Superintendent of Police (Investigation), Jalandhar (Rural) and no substance was found in the said representation. In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed having been rendered infructuous. However, it will be open for the petitioners to file a fresh petition, if they still feel any threat to their life and liberty.
