His grievance is that no action has been taken by I.G. (Prisons) UT Chandigarh on his application dated 15.7.2014 seeking jail transfer from Model Jail,Chandigarh to Distt. Jail, Nabha, Distt. Patiala where his aged parents are stated to be residing. After hearing counsel for the petitioner this petition is disposed of with a direction that I.G.(Prisons) UT Chandigarh shall, in case the said application for transfer is pending, decide the same in an expeditious manner in accordance with law.

Disposed of in the above terms.
