**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) This is a petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.384 dated 30.05.2017 under Sections 354A(1), 354D, 506, 376, 511 and 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station Samalkha, District Panipat.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the instant FIR is nothing other than a counter blast to FIR No. 445 dated 29.05.2017 under Sections 148, 149, 323, 506 IPC that has been registered at Police Station, Chandni Bagh, Panipat in which the wife of the petitioner had been subjected to beatings which resulted in her miscarriage. It is also contended that the investigation in the said matter is complete and the matter same is now listed for framing of charges. He further contends that the petitioner is in custody since 12.06.2017.

Learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that the investigation in the matter is complete and the petitioner is no longer required.
