Earlier the matter was heard. When the judgment was reserved, it was brought to the notice of this Court by learned counsel for the respondents that the main suit has already been decided, vide judgment dated 26.09.2022, copy whereof, has also been supplied by learned counsel for the respondents.

The fact of decision of the main suit, as such, was brought to the notice of learned counsel for the petitioner, who made a submission that passing the decree has no effect on the civil revision, especially, when the same was reserved for judgment, prior in time. However, it is pertinent to mention that at no stage, when the VINEET GULATI 2022.11.11 16:05 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment Chandigarh

CR-1517-2022 -2matter was reserved, it was brought to the notice of this Court by learned counsel for the petitioner, about the final arguments having been addressed before learned lower Court and in these circumstances, when the case has been disposed of by learned lower Court, finally, the present revision petition, being an offshoot of the main case, as such, has been rendered infructuous.

Accordingly, the present revision petition stands dismissed as having become infructuous.
