RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. has been made for grant of anticipatory bail to petitioner Sohan Lal in case FIR No.33 dated 30.05.2016 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 61-1-14 of the Excise Act and 21 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Dhilwan, District Kapurthala.

Learned State counsel has filed reply by way of affidavit of Gaurav Toora, IPS, Assistant Superintendent of Police, which is taken on record. According to the reply, at different police stations, ten cases under the NDPS Act are pending against the petitioner. He is a professional drug peddler.

In view of above, petitioner does not deserve the concession of anticipatory bail.

Dismissed.
