The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to the Appellate Court to decide the appeal bearing No.G4/35303 dated 20.12.2013 titled "Dr. Manjit Singh Gill Vs. Dilbagh Singh", pending in the Court of Additional Sessions Judge, Amritsar arising out of Complaint No.1439 dated 10.1.2009 decided vide order dated 25.11.2013 passed by learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Amritsar.
Learned counsel for the petitioner argued that the appeal in this case is pending since 2012 and it has not been decided by the Appellate Court/Additional Sessions Judge, Amritsar.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

Cr. Misc. No.M-26539 of 2015 [2] The only prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is for issuance of direction for expeditious disposal of the appeal. Keeping in view the fact that the appeal is pending before the Court since 20.12.2013, therefore, the learned Additional District Judge, Amritsar is directed to dispose of the appeal expeditiously as per law. The criminal miscellaneous petition stands disposed of accordingly.
