(Oral) Counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, submits that since the petitioner is in custody since 18.10.2018 and out of 14 prosecution witnesses, only 03 PWs have been examined, he do not intend to press this petition, however, further submits that the trial Court be directed to conclude the trial expeditiously. Counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Sukhpal Singh, has not disputed the factual position. In view of the above, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously within a period of 09 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
