Challenge in the present petition was to the notices dated 25.05.2022 (Annexure P-2) and 22.02.2022 whereby the respondent had issued a notice to the petitioner to clear the defaulting amount of Rs.249094/- against the electricity account No. BS09/0029X as well as against notice dated 10.01.2023 with respect to the same. A further prayer was made for setting aside the order dated 04.01.2024 (Annexure P-7) passed by the Permanent Lok Adalat (Public Utility Services) U.T.,Chandigarh whereby the application of the petitioner for grant of an interim relief had been declined.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents informs the Court that the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous since the application filed under Section 22 (C) of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 itself has been dismissed.
