RITU BAHRI J.(Oral) Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C for grant of anticipatory bail in F.I.R No. Nil likely to be registered against them under Sections 406/498-A IPC on the basis of complaints submitted by respondent No. 2 before Women Cell, Nawanshahar, District SBS Nagar and Women Cell, Hoshiarpur and further prayer is for issuance of direction to the respondents that in case petitioners are required to be arrested of aforesaid offences, they be given 7 days prior notice. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner does not want to press the petition for grant of anticipatory bail, however, he submits that the police be directed to give 7 days prior notice to the petitioners, as petitioner No. 1 is 76 years old and further petitioners are taking care of the minor child of respondent No.

2. Petitioner No. 4 is the married sister-in-law of respondent No. 2 who is residing with her husbandpetitioner No. 5 in her matrimonial house and have nothing to do with the matrimonial dispute of respondent No. 2 with her husband. GAURAV ARORA 2016.08.

Crl. Misc. No.M-27481 of 2016 -2Admittedly no F.I.R has been registered against the petitioners so far and there is only apprehension that they can be arrested on the basis of complaints pending against them.

The prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners is declined at this stage. However, keeping in view the apprehension and also the fact that the complaints are pending against them and petitioners are looking after the minor child of respondent No. 2, the concerned police authorities are directed to give 7 days prior notice, as contemplated under Section 160 Cr.P.C, in case, petitioners are sought to be investigated in any complaints pending with the police.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
