The present petition has filed been under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of direction to decide the case in FIR No.38 dated 01.05.2018 registered under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Jaitu within a fixed time frame. 2.

A report dated 18.07.2023 has been received from SubDivisional Judicial Magistrate-cum-ACJ (Sr. Division), Jaitu wherein it has been mentioned that the case is pending for cross-examination of the complainant and trial shall be expedited and pending four witnesses of prosecution would be shortly examined.
