NARESH KUMAR SANGHI, J.(Oral) Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Tarlok Singh, Police Station,Ramdass, District Amritsar (Rural), submits that after registration of the FIR, the investigation has been entrusted to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural) and if the material emerges on record then the petitioner would be arrested and put to trial.
In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press this petition, at this stage.
