(Oral) This is a petition for anticipatory bail filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, (BNSS), 2023 in case bearing FIR No.77 dated 21.07.2020 under Sections 452, 323, 324, 427, 506, 148, 149 IPC, registered at Police Station Bhindi Saidan, District Amritsar Rural. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has been named as an accused in the aforementioned FIR wherein it is alleged that the petitioner has given a blow with the handle of spade to the mother of the complainant which hit on the right knee. The injury attributed to the petitioner was simple in nature. It is further contended that all the offences are bailable except Section 452 of IPC. He further contends that the petitioner was not called by the Investigating Officer till now, however, he is apprehending arrest at this belated stage.

This Court, vide order dated 20.03.2025, had directed the petitioner to appear before the Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of his arrest, he was ordered to be released on ad-interim bail to the satisfaction Sonia Puri 2025.05.06 17:55 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned State counsel states that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation. 5.

In view of the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner especially when the petitioner having joined investigation, the order dated 20.03.2025 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute. 6.

However, the petitioner shall abide by the conditions stipulated under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. He shall also join investigation as and when called upon to do so.

The petition stands allowed.
