Versus
State of Punjab ... Respondent(s) CORAM: Hon'ble Mr. Justice Shekher Dhawan.
Present:
Mr. Karanjeet Singh Brar, Advocate for the /petitioner(s).

Present petition is for quashing of order dated 22.11.2008, passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Phagwara whereby petitioner was declared as proclaimed offender. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that main case has been settled between the parties.
Having considered the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner and the fact that petitioner is an accused in case FIR No. 233 dated 15.9.2007, registered under Sections 325, 324, 323, 341 & 148 IPC at Police Station Sadar, Phagwara and he remained away from the Court and misused the process of law for about a decade, there is no ground to quash the impugned order and thus, present petition stands dismissed.
