Learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his submission only for direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Sahib to look into the threat perception to the life and liberty of petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law. As per the petitioner, he has filed some complaints with Senior Superintendent of Police relating to misuse of funds by Municipal Councilor, Mandi Gobindgarh, who is posing threat to his life and liberty.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Sahib to verify the threat perception to the life and liberty of petitioner as per submission of learned counsel for the petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
