Present petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking grant of regular bail, in case, FIR No.17, dated 22.03.2019, under Sections 22, 61 and 85 of NDPS Act (Annexure P-1) and GD No.03 dated 23.03.2019, registered at Police Station Rampura, District Bathinda.

Learned State counsel has filed status report dated 03.11.2025 in the Court today and the same is taken on record. 3.

On the very outset, learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sukhmandher Singh, informs the Court that out of total 29 prosecution witnesses, 15 have already been examined and 12 are given up, and only 2 are left to be examined.

On being apprised about the stage of trial which is at its fag end, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the present petition, with a direction to learned trial Court to expedite the proceedings, and conclude the trial, as early as possible, in accordance with law. 5.

With the direction passed here above, present petition stands disposed of.
