NARESH KUMAR SANGHI, J (Oral) Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 439, Cr.P.C., is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, Ravinder Pal Singh @ Ravi, son of Bakshish Singh, resident of House No. 8534, Atwal Nagar, Chuhur Pur Road, Ludhiana, who has been booked for having committed the offences punishable under Sections 392 and 395, IPC, in a case arising out of FIR No. 24, dated 30.3.2014, registered at Police Station, PAU, District Ludhiana Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the alleged occurrence had taken place at 3:00 a.m. and it was pitch dark and not possible for the aggrieved person and the PRASHANT KAPOOR 2015.09.17 18:21 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
CRM-M-26727-2015 witnesses to identify the assailants; no test identification parade was conducted; and that in a false and fabricated case, the petitioner has been implicated.
Learned counsel for the State on instructions from SI Karnail Singh of Police Station, PAU, District Ludhiana, has pointed out that the petitioner is involved in three more such like cases. He further points out that the aggrieved person in his examination in the Court, has identified the petitioner as one of the assailants and supported the prosecution version. Heard.
Grant of bail to the petitioner would not be in the interest of the remaining witnesses to be examined by the prosecution.
No ground for grant of bail to the petitioner is made out.
Dismissed.
