Through the instant petition, the petitioner is seeking release of Iqbalpreet Singh, who is stated to be in illegal custody of police since 03.06.2020.

In response to issue of notice of motion, learned State counsel has put in appearance on behalf of State of Punjab. He points out that petitioner was arrested on 03.06.2020 in FIR No. 37 dated 09.03.2020, registered under Sections 307 and 506 read with Section 34 IPC, Police Station City-2, Khanna and he is in judicial custody.
