(Oral) Prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of order dated 16.12.2016 passed by Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Amritsar, vide which the petitioner has been wrongly and erroneously declared as proclaimed offender in criminal case arising out of FIR No. 88 dated 13.3.2015 under Section 420 IPC, registered at Police Station Civil Lines, Amritsar, despite the fact that the matter has been compromised.

The petition is disposed of with direction to the petitioner to appear in the trial Court within 7 days from today and move an application for regular bail, which be decided within 2 weeks thereof. Till then the petitioner would not be arrested. ( H.S.
