As per office report dated 08.01.2024, fresh notice issued to the sole respondent in term of previous order dated 20.11.2023, has been received back with the report 'died'.

At the outset, learned counsel for the appellants on instructions submits that the site in question where the plaintiff/ respondent was stated to be in illegal occupation has already been taken over by the appellant-Municipality, Dera Bassi. Therefore, nothing survives in the instant appeal and she prays that the instant appeal may be disposed of, accordingly.
