Learned counsel for respondent No.1-MC Samrala states that in the written statement filed on behalf of respondent No.1 it has been stated that the petitioner had served a demand notice under Section 2-A of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (in short 'the Act') and the Labour-cumConciliation Officer, Ludhiana has taken note of the said demand notice vide order dated 28.06.2021 and sent Reference under Section 10(1) of the Act to the Industrial Tribunal, Ludhiana on the following issue:- "Whether the services of workman Avtar Singh have been terminated by the Management/Administrator in illegal and improper manner? If yes, then what benefits and in what manner are entitled to the workmen?"
Thereafter, the Industrial Tribunal, Ludhiana has issued notice to the answering respondent in Reference No.314 of 2021 'Avtar Singh V/s Municipal Council Samrala" for 26.11.2021. Hence, grievance of the petitioner stands redressed and the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous.

CWP-9091-2021 (O&M) -2Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the aforesaid fact. However, he states that services of the petitioner were terminated in the month of January 2021 and, hence, the matter may be expedited. In view of the written statement filed on behalf of respondent No.1-MC Samrala, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed and at this stage the present writ petition is disposed off as having been rendered infructuous.
As regards the prayer of expediting the matter, I do not find any ground to issue a time-bound direction, at this stage, to the Industrial Tribunal, Ludhiana for expediting the matter.
