(Oral) Present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for protection to the life and liberty of the petitioners in view of the marriage solemnized by them against the wishes of respondent Nos.4 & 5. 2.

Although, on earlier occasion, CRM-M-8863-2019 has been filed and the parties were relegated to the Mediation & Conciliation Centre of this Court, in the pre-lunch session, on 27.02.2019 (P-1), wherein they have compromised the matter and vide order of the same date, passed in postlunch session, the said petition was disposed off with liberty to the petitioners to approach this Court again if the occasion so arises. Now the petitioners are apprehending threat to their life and liberty. 3.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. C.L.Pawar, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3 and requisite sets of paper-book be supplied to him during the course of day.

Both the petitioners are stated to be major and are present in Court also, duly identified by their Counsel. They apprehend threat to their life and liberty at the hands of respondent Nos.4 & 5. Therefore, the present petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2/Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners, as per law.

However, it is made clear that this order may not be construed as expression of an opinion on legality and validity of the marriage of the petitioners.
