(ORAL) This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.136 dated 26.04.2020, under Sections 22 and 29 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, registered at Police Station City Faridkot, District Faridkot.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to order dated 12.06.2020, the petitioner has joined the investigation and has fully cooperated in the same.

Learned State counsel does not controvert the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation. He submits that, per his instructions, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required. 4.
In view of the above, since custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required and he has already joined the investigation and cooperated with the investigating officer, the petition is allowed. Order dated 12.06.2020 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the petitioner's complying with provisions under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
