Apprehending threat to his life and liberty at the hands of private respondents, petitioner has filed the present petition praying therein to issue appropriate directions to the official respondents to take legal action against the private respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that in the intervening night on 11/12.02.2026, petitioner was assaulted by some unknown persons at his Eatery/Dhaba situated at G.T. Road, Doraha, Khanna. The eatery was also vandalized. Pursuant thereto, he lodged the complaint to the police authorities but no action has been initiated till date. Prayer of the petitioner is that his representation dated 12.02.2026 (Annexure P-1) be decided expeditiously in accordance with law. 3.
