(Oral) The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to release benefits of additional ten per cent of basic pay with dearness allowance in terms of clause 11 of the Teacher Transfer Policy, 2016, dated 01.06.2017 and 13.04.2022, Annexure P-1 and P-2, respectively, for remaining posted in district Mewat from 10.06.2022 to 06.03.2024.

Learned State counsel has received instructions from the second respondent vide memo dated 19.05.2025, which is retained on case file as Annexure 'B'. The relevant part of the instructions reads as under: In this regard, it is submitted here that petitioner had served in the District Nuh (Mewat) from 10.03.1999 till 15.03.2024 in district Nuh, Mewat. Thereafter the petitioner was transferred to his home town district Rewari in Inter District Transfer Drive on his own option vide order dated 06.03.2024 by losing his seniority and joined his services thereon 16.03.2024 and got retired from there PAYAL 2025.05.28 10:00 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
CWP-7967-2025 -2on dated 31.03.2024. The MIS details of the petitioner has been attached herewith as Annexure A-1.

Apparently, the petitioner belonged to Mewat cadre and served there till 15.03.2024, thereafter he was transferred to district Rewari in Rest of Haryana cadre on his own request. Accordingly, he is not entitled to the benefits claimed, as it is not a case that he has ever been transferred to district Nuh against a vacancy in a transfer drive.

In view thereof, there is no ground to entertain the petition, and it stands dismissed.
