Prayer in this petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C., is for grant of bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 139 dated 01.09.2020 registered under Section 22 of the Arms Act, 1959 at Police Station Mehta, Amritsar (Rural), District Amritsar.

At the outset, learned counsel for the State submits that vide order dated 19.12.2022, passed by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court, the petitioner was released of interim bail for a period of 05 days to attend the marriage function of his real sister and had to surrender on 28.12.2022, but he had absconded and not surrendered till date. Perusal of the order dated 19.12.2022, shows that while granting interim bail to the petitioner, it was observed by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court that in case, the petitioner does not surrender on the RISHU KATARIA 2023.01.19 17:05 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRM-M-18118-2021 -2stipulated day, the main petition for grant of regular bail shall be deemed to be dismissed.

In view of the observations made by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court, no further order is required to be passed in the present petition and the same is dismissed.

Since, the main petition has been dismissed, therefore, all the criminal miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed.
