*** Learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner and his wife have since appeared in the enquiry and their statements have been recorded. This fact is conceded by the learned State counsel, on instruction from ASI Ranjit Singh, Economic Wing, Ropar. He further submits that enquiry is still going on. The State counsel further submits that if petitioner or his wife are required to join enquiry, they would be summoned by adopting due process by issuing notice to them giving them sufficient time to appear in the enquiry.

Hearing this statement, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he be permitted to withdraw the petition. Dismissed as withdrawn.
