(ORAL) In the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners.

Heard.

According to the contents of the petition it is apparent that petitioner No.2 - Priya is minor and thus, her marriage with petitioner No.1 - Shriman Singh at this stage is void/voidable. Hence, on the basis of illegal marriage between the petitioners, they are not entitled to any relief in the instant petition. However, Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran - respondent No.2 shall look into the matter and if apprehends any danger to the life and liberty of the petitioners then only shall provide protection to them.

Disposed of.
