(Oral) It has been informed by learned counsel for the petitioner that in the instant case statement of accused in terms of Section 313 Cr.P.C. already stands recorded. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition and that some direction to expedite the trial may kindly be issued.

In view of the aforestated position, the instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The trial Court is directed to take necessary steps to conclude the trial at the earliest, preferably within less than one month from today.
