Mediation proceedings initiated by this Court have also failed.

During the course of previous hearing this Court had directed the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana to personally look into the investigation.

Subsequently status report dated 7.10.2014 was filed by the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana.

A reading of the same reveals that most of the dowry articles have been recovered during investigation wherein the petitioner is stated to have joined on different occasions.
