(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No. 103 dated 13.07.2020 (Annexure P-1) registered under Section 420 IPC at Police Station City-I, Malerkotla, District Sangrur and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise (Annexures P-2 and P-3), effected in between the parties.

Pursuant to orders dated 29.04.2021, of this Court, the parties appeared before the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Malerkotla, on 11.05.2021 to get their statements recorded. Learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Malerkotla, submitted her report along with copies of statements of the parties vide letter No. 685 dated 13.05.2021, duly forwarded by the learned District and Sessions Judge, Sangrur, vide Endst. CRM-M-17820-2021 -2According to the report, learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Malerkotla, is satisfied that compromise effected between the parties is result of free volition of the parties and without any inducement, threat or pressure. There is no other accused except petitioner-Mohd. Mushtaq and he has never been declared proclaimed offender.

Considering the report of Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Malerkotla, dated 13.05.2021 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony between the parties, aforesaid FIR No. 103 dated 13.07.2020 (Annexure P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed, qua the petitioner only.
