IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH

CRM-M No. 28056 of 2016 (O&M) Date of decision : 30.7.2018 ...

Guru Lal Singh @ Gurlal Singh and another ................Petitioners vs.

State of Punjab .................Respondent Coram: Hon'ble Mr. Justice H. S. Madaan Present: None for the petitioners.

Mr. Dhruv Dayal, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab. Mr. A.S. Gulati, Advocate for the complainant ...

H. S. Madaan, J. (Oral) There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Similar was the position on the last date of hearing. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Surinder Singh, submits that petitioners have not been arrested so far and proceedings for getting them declared as proclaimed offenders are going on.

Under these circumstances, it appears that petitioners are no longer interested in prosecution of the petition. The same stands dismissed for non-prosecution.
