Through the instant petition, the petitioner is seeking release of Karamveer Singh @ Gaggi, who is stated to be in illegal custody of respondents No.4 and 5 since 02.06.2020.

Vide order dated 05.06.2020, a Warrant Officer was appointed with a direction to search about the whereabouts of alleged detenue Karamveer Singh @ Gaggi. As per report of Warrant Officer, on raiding the premises of Police Post Sito Gunno, District Fazilka, the alleged detenue was found arrested in FIR No. 86 dated 03.06.2020, registered under Sections 465, 468, 471, 473 IPC and Section 61 of Punjab Excise Act, Police Station Bhavwala, District Fazilka on 03.06.2020 and was produced before the Court on 04.06.2020, wherein his police remand was granted by the Court till 06.06.2020.
