This writ petition has been filed inter alia for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to open and evaluate the technical bid of the petitioner along with that of other applicants, which has been submitted pursuant to Detailed Notice for Inviting Tender (DNIT) (Annexure P-1).

Learned Senior counsel for the petitioner has expressed an apprehension that the bid made by petitioner is not likely to be considered as petitioner has been informed that he does not meet the experience criteria. 3.

Counsel for Market Committee, Ludhiana-respondent No.2 states that petitioner's bid along with that of other applicants, will be opened as per the schedule given in the DNIT and shall be considered, if, found eligible. 5.
