IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M-27233 of 2017 Date of Decision: 31.07.2017 Paramjit Singh ....Petitioner

Versus

State of Punjab ....Respondent CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMENDRA JAIN Present: - Mr. T.K. Gupta, Advocate, for the petitioner. RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.08 dated 07.09.2010 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 406/420/448/380/511/120-B IPC registered at Police Station NRI (City), Jalandhar City and all subsequent proceedings including order dated 10.06.2015 (Annexure P-3) passed by learned Chief Judicial Magistrate (NRI cases), Jalandhar, framing the charges against the petitioner and order dated 04.05.2017 (Annexure P-4) passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar (NRI Court), whereby revision of the petitioner has been dismissed.

Heard.

Framing of charge by the trial Court against the petitioner in itself is sufficient to conclude that there is prima facie evidence against the petitioner, who is an attesting witness to two sale deeds in question. The revision petition filed by the petitioner, raising similar pleas, has been dismissed by the Revisional Court at Jalandhar. No ground for quashing the FIR in question and charge-sheet is made out. Dismissed.
