Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.198 dated 03.06.2005, under Sections 406, 498-A, 494 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('IPC' for short) registered at Police Station Division Sadar Amritsar and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise.
Vide order dated 19.08.2015 parties were directed to appear before the trial Court and the trial Court was directed to send its report qua genuineness of the compromise after recording the statement of the complainant/victims.
