**** SANJAY VASHISTH , J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner - Malkeet Singh, who has been booked for having committed the offences punishable under Section 21 of the Mines and Minerals Act, 1957, in a case arising out of FIR No. 69, dated 01.04.2022, registered at Police Station Sadar Ferozepur, District Ferozepur.
There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the State on instructions from HC Sukhjinder Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined investigation and thus, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required for the purpose of investigation.
Heard.
Since petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is not required, the present petition is allowed and the adinterim order dated 25.04.2022 is made absolute. However, petitioner shall continue to join the investigation as JAWALA RAM 2022.09.16 14:28 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.
