This petition has been filed for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 10 dated 23.1.2015 registered under Sections 379-B and 411 IPC at Police Station Sadar, Jalandhar. Learned counsel for the petitioner has argued that originally Section 379-B IPC was not invoked against the petitioner and now the same has been invoked against him. The petitioner has been in custody since 21.1.2015 and similarly situated co-accused has been released on bail.

Learned Deputy Advocate General on instructions from Assistant Sub Inspector Kamaljit Singh has accepted these factual assertions but has submitted that the petitioner is facing trial in four DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2015.09.09 10:15 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

Be that as it may, without commenting upon merits of the case and keeping in view the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, I do not deem it appropriate to deny him the concession of bail. Thus, the present petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on regular bail to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate.
