SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent no. 4, SHO, Police Station Sadar Jalalabad instead of investigating FIR no. 70 dated 03.05.2018 registered on complaint of petitioner is pressurizing him to withdraw the complaint and also giving threats to him. Representation dated 30.06.2018 to this effect was made to Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka.
Without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no. 3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka to look into and verify submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, which he has put forth under the instructions of his client and take action in accordance with law. However, it is made clear that nothing contained in this order shall be deemed as expression of view on merits of submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner or anything contained in the representation by him (Annexure P-2).
