**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) This petition has been taken for hearing through Whatsapp video call due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Through Whatsapp video call, petitioner has talked to the minor children, who are stated to be living with their grandmother. The minor children have expressed their desire to live with the grandmother at this stage keeping in view the fact that their parents do not have a cordial relationship with each other and they do not like the atmosphere in the house as such and they want to avoid the same and they are happy at this stage.

CRWP-3578-2020 -2Petitioner, who herself appeared through Whatsapp video call, states that keeping in view the interaction with the minor children, she does not want to press this writ petition any further, but prays that she be given liberty to avail appropriate remedy with regard to the custody of her minor children, by adopting the due procedure of law. As the present writ petition is for Habeas Corpus, no liberty is needed and the petitioner is free to avail remedy available to her under law in case she is interested for seeking the custody of minor children. Keeping in view the fact that the petitioner does not want to press this writ petition any further, the same is disposed of as having been not pressed.

With regard to donning of police uniform by respondent No.3, though he is not a police officer, let the same be enquired by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Mohali, as to how respondent No.3 got the police uniform and take necessary action in case the same is liable to be taken as per the facts and circumstances, which emerged during the inquiry/investigation in that regard.
