After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for permission to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to approach the Commissioner of Police qua the grievance which is the subject matter of the instant petition with directions being issued to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner.

The same is not opposed by learned Addl. A.G., Punjab. 4.
