Jagsir Singh v. State Of Punjab And ANR.
In the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, at Chandigarh Criminal Misc. No. M-27500 of 2017 Date of Decision: 13.09.2017 Jagsir Singh ... Petitioner(s)
Versus
State of Punjab and Another ... Respondent(s) CORAM: Hon'ble Mr. Justice Shekher Dhawan.
Present:
Mr. Deepak Aggarwal, Advocate for the petitioner(s).
Shekher Dhawan, J.
Present petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking pre-arrest bail to the petitioner in complaint bearing No. 142 dated 5.10.2015, registered under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 titled as "Baljit Singh v. Jagsir Singh".
Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that offence against the petitioner is bailable one and he is ready to appear before the learned trial Court because earlier no notice of accusation was issued to him at his actual address.
Having considered the fact that petitioner was declared as proclaimed offender, there is absolutely no ground to release the petitioner on pre-arrest bail. Hence, the present petition stands dismissed. (Shekher Dhawan) Judge September 13, 2017 "DK"
